2022 was quite a year for the Attractions Industry, especially as it was marked by the first "normal" high season in two years, opening new doors for growth.
We couldn’t ignore these opportunities, so we embarked on a journey with our rocket ship, and here’s what it looked like…
This journey couldn’t start without a great and dedicated team. That’s why during the last 12 months, we were dedicated to finding the right people for this mission.
Our team has been growing as 45 new amazing people embarked on our rocket ship. We can now take pride in having a great team with the most courageous, confident, cool, committed, and creative people.
We couldn’t be happier to have over 150 attractions on board with us. The future of the industry looks so bright when we look at how, each day, attraction operators are going the extra mile to provide the best experience to their visitors.
Proof of that has to be the astonishing number of 36 new partners all across Europe, including Drayton Manor, Playpark Sprookjeshof Amusement Park, West Midland Safari Park, Flyview Paris, Ouwehands Dierenpark, Bavaria Filmstadt, Time Ride among many more.
After getting our team ready, we needed a plan so, as always, we wondered how we could keep on innovating in the Attractions Industry with our vision.
In March 2022, we enhanced the online visibility of our partners by integrating with ‘’Google things to do’’. A win-win situation, as visitors can easily find the perfect plan for a weekend getaway, while venues can now gain maximum visibility on search engines.
In July 2022, we brought better experiences even further with our automated personalisation module. As part of the advanced marketing package, this module allows attractions to offer their visitors the right offers and messages at the right time, creating a more personalised experience.

Then we needed a map in order to continue our journey. Ours consisted of many industry events such as Museum Connections, SNELAC, Museums + Heritage, and IAAPA Orlando, just to name a few. But there is one that we could particularly name as a highlight…
Our rocket ship has (literally) landed in London for IAAPA Expo Europe 2022. What a great way of giving everyone a hint of what we’ve been up to.
Receiving recognition for our efforts in creating seamless visitor experiences is yet another highlight of this journey.
In November 2022, Deloitte recognised Convious as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands for the second consecutive year, and we couldn’t be prouder.
In December, during the Blooloop Innovation Awards, our personalised engagement tools won 2nd place within the Guest Journey category, proving once again that answering consumers’ needs in real-time is vital to help them experience better.
Do you know what that means? It means that a considerable amount of people are enjoying a more seamless and connected mobile experience before, during, and after their visit, especially now with Tap's new features.
