Andy Povey joins Convious as UK and Ireland Managing Director

Andy Povey has joined leading experience economy software developer and app innovator Convious as Managing Director for UK and Ireland. He joins the team in the UK including Business Director Adam 

Thompson to further grow the company and bring the benefits of integrated end-to-end sales and marketing platforms to theme parks, zoos, aquariums and wellness destinations.

Andy has over 20 years of experience in the leisure industry and has held prestigious positions for operators including Merlin and suppliers including Gateway Ticketing. He specialises in developing and implementing business intelligence and customer tracking strategies and has a proven track record of successfully growing companies into new market sectors and geographies.

Andy will be leading Convious’s ambitious growth plans in the UK and developing SaaS solution offerings that combine operations management, ecommerse and visitor experience functionalities, all from one comprehensive cloud platform.

In December, Convious announced that it has raised $12M in Series A funding with venture capital firm Begin Capital. Over the course of 2022, the company plans to expand further with offices set to open in the US, France, Germany and its sales and the product development teams growing from 65 to 125 people.
