High season to come: Convious sees digital transformation trend on the rise

March 2023

As the 2023 season approaches, Convious has unveiled statistics that show that the digital transformation trend is continuing as more European destinations are moving to the all-in-one eCommerce platform to optimise business operations in a challenging financial climate.

Convious has signed 14 new partners since last season, spanning six countries including those that were originally slow to adopt digital transformation, including Germany, and in territories that were new to Convious in 2022, including UK and France.

Designed specifically for experience economy businesses, Convious recognises the nuances between different destination genres and provides dedicated support features for each, including theme parks, museums, heritage destinations such as castles and stately homes, spas, water parks, activity centres, zoos and aquariums.

This is shown through the range of new partners now working with Convious, including indoor ski and adventure park Ice Mountain, indoor playground Funoase and sportainment destination Sparkx in Belgium. Amusement parks Rustik and Parc Saint Paul, animal park La Ferme aux Crocodiles and castles Château St Fargeau and Ferme du Château in France. Amusement park Freizeitpark Plohn, wildlife park Tripsdrill and boat tour operator Rössler Linie in Germany and West Midland Safari Park and Camel Creek in UK.

Hans Keijmel, Head of Sales & Customer Success at Convious explains:

“As we move into what will be the first full season post Covid for most destinations, it is great to see more attractions turning to us as partners to support with their eCommerce operations."

“The Convious platform enables companies in the leisure industry to have full viability over every aspect of their operations. Using AI, we provide solutions for interacting with visitors at every stage of the customer journey with modules for marketing, visitor experience and eCommerce, allowing operators to have full visibility to streamline operations.

We are looking forward to the new season getting underway and supporting our partners in increasing revenue, enhancing visitor experiences and reducing manual operational work so teams can focus on what really matters.”

Long term Convious partners are seeing the benefit as their businesses go from strength to strength, including Smile Safari in Belgium, Funmania in Northern Ireland, SEA LIFE Helsinki in Finland, Indoor Mountainbike, Avonturenpark Hellendoorn, Sprookjesbos Valkenburg, Moco Museum, Sanjes Safari and Julianatoren in Netherlands and Irrlandia, Schloß Thurn, Saarow Therme and Mauritius Hotel & Therme in Germany and more to come.
